Mark your calendars for our next OCASC meeting on
Thursday, 21 March 2019!
Attached is the agenda for the meeting.
We have a jam-packed agenda this month, with speakers from:
- the OCDSB Risk Management Group, who will speak to us about insurance and risk management (recently updated) for Councils and in schools; and
- the Director of Communications and Outreach from PLEO (Parents’ Lifelines of Eastern Ontario https://www.pleo.on.ca/) who will speak about their services and activities and the presentations they can make regarding mental health and addiction.
At the end of the General Assembly Meeting, we will have a breakout session, where the Secondary Schools will have the opportunity to discuss co-op placements and other issues of interest to members. This session will also give other members (from the Elementary Schools) an opportunity to discuss topics of interest in smaller groups.
Also attached are the minutes from our February 2019 meeting (including the minutes from the breakout Secondary School Committee meeting). Please review them before the upcoming meeting.
