December Assembly Meeting and Social

December 5th, 2013 by Helen Norman

December 12 is the date for our annual holiday social.  It is one week earlier in the month than usual for the Assembly meeting.  SSC members are encouraged to come out and join us for a few treats and conversation with other members of the Assembly.  If you feel inclined, please bring a small plate of festive goodies for sharing after the shortened meeting.

Trustee Mark Fisher will be joining us to talk about his motion regarding the cyclical replacement of play structures.  He is looking for feedback and to gauge interest in having this go forward.  I predict there will be lots of interest in this topic.  Come and add your experience and questions to the discussion.

Also on the agenda, PRO grant funds and Chalk-It-Up.  See you at 7pm on the 12th at Fisher Park in the library.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, I would like to offer, on behalf of the OCASC executive, best wishes and a sincere thank you to each of you who come out to meetings, participate, and challenge each other to make a difference in our schools.  We know that it is valuable time away from your families.  Enjoy this wonderful season of family, friends, and community.
