The mandate of the Strategic Planning and Priorities (SPP) Committee covers policy development and management system and policies related to corporate governance; strategic planning and corporate goal-setting; communications; overall planning and priorities of Board activities; co-ordination of work amongst the Board and Committees; evaluation of Director; liaison with external organizations, agencies and governments; the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and information management in general; and matters referred by the Board.
The SPP Committee usually meets on the last Wednesday of the month during the school year at 7:30 pm. You may confirm dates and start times on the Board’s web site.
OCASC SPP Committee (Non-Voting) Representative is the Chair unless an alternate is approved.
