When our children are being bombarded with values that are very different from our own, it is often difficult to know how to establish, protect and encourage their sense of self in an ever-changing, challenging and sometimes even unsafe world. This presentation examines ways that parents can provide a family environment that supports the development of resilience and healthy self-esteem.

This talk is generously supported by Parents Reaching Out Grants.

A dynamic, humorous and celebrated speaker, Maggie Mamen is in great demand for presentations to a wide variety of audiences on all issues — from the extraordinary to the everyday — that complicate contemporary family life. Dr. Maggie Mamen has been in your home and you’ve been in hers!
